hi,
i want to construct a solid pyramid part in Abaqus 6.2. I searched
through some of the earlier posts that suggested cutting a cube
diagonally to obtain a pyramid, but that does not leave you any choice
over the angles of the pyramid.
Any other suggestions, please?
Thanks

There is no pyramid element. Split the cube to obtain a tet mesh.

why don't you just build 3D part ,and when extruding it use include draft with whatever angle you want till it ends as a pyramid.
