Hello Everyone,

I would like to import a input file in format .inp or .txt without a created project (Only this file) Is this possible?

For example a .txt file

Hi,

Download Notped++, freeware from http://notepad-plus-plus.org/.
Open your text file with Notpad++ and "save as" for example tool.inp file.
Run Abaqus and select File > Import > Model and browse to your tool.inp file, Abaqus will load everything as instructed in that file.

Save your input file (inputfilename.inp) in the current directory (C:\Temp). Open Abaqus/Command and type:

abaqus job = inputfilename

This will run your input file without involvement of the graphical user interface of Abaqus/CAE.

I hope this is what you want.

Or you can open the ABAQUS CAE and click FILE -> Import -> Model ( and you can import .inp file)
