I am in the process of learning PYTHON to be able to write own subroutines.
What i am looking for is a simplest UMAT of a homogeneous, isotropic
material based on continuum elasticity only (or plasticity in its simplest
form). Can anyone send me the UMAT file so that i can contunie my learning
on the subject. Any help will be deeply appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

You'll need to learn FORTRAN to work with user-defined subroutines.

Sagar:

You need to know FORTRAN to write a subroutine, not Python. I wonder how you even went down that road.

There is a lot of helpful information available in this groups' archives; be sure to dig deep.

Hi,I have wrote a Constitutive model in fortran, but when I run it I saw this error: ***ERROR: System error 3 in std_ElemWorkspaceManager::DeAllocate: An offset overwrite was detected for Element operator workspace ID = 13, Element operator workspace name = idEW_MaterialStiffness, Offset = 25. Any help ? PS: It should be noted that ABAQUS standard with user subroutines passes the verification procedure successfully. The error is issued at the very first increment of the analysis stage and is written in the message file. thanks
Kenan
