Greetings,

I am now modeling an abaqus model with cohesive interaction between two domains. The cohesive interaction is traction separation law with damage initiation and linear evolution.
After a general static step, the interaction face of two domain deforms and some part of it enter the damaged domain of interaction. I activate the restart option so that it output .res file so that I can import the material state into anther model, change some BC and do a linear perturbation step to analysis.
I am a little confused when I run the linear perturbation step, what properties of cohesive interaction does abaqus use from the imported cohesive interaction? To be specific, am I using the damaged stiffness of interaction or the initial stiffness? I looked up the documentation, abaqus is using t(traction) = G(damage index)*K(initial stiffness)*e(seperation) where G is assign according to the damage criterion. So the stiffness of interaction it uses is GK or K or the negative stiffness within the linear evolution phase?

Thanks,

Qianli
