Hi Everbody,

While doing static analysis with contact I get the following warning for several nodes
WARNING: SOLVER PROBLEM. NUMERICAL SINGULARITY WHEN PROCESSING
NODE 2654
D.O.F. 3 RATIO = 1.05990E+11
I refined the contact pair (TIED,ADJUST=YES) to ensure that the slave
nodes are tied to master.

could you please help me?

best regards.

ahmet.

Dear Ahmet,

Numerical singularity error comes due to under constraints. Please check your constraints (boundary conditions etc) and interactions.

Please check with tie connections first and solve it .then after convert these tie connections into interactions one by one and verify the model.

if the above things are not helping you out then please let me know i will help you with some other things which have to be changed.

Regards,
Kiran.

I have started to learn ABAQUS these days. Actually I try to understand. I have studied in geotechnical engineering.

Shortly, I met some problems like numerical singularity. I send as email that attached detail of my problem.

If someone help me in this respect, I really will be so happy.

Already now, thank you so much.
