Hi, everyone, I recently am embarking on analysis of creep for metal,
however, it's unfortunately for me that I am a freshman to creep. As
for steady-state creep, a formula like this puzzling me:
espsilon(dot)=A*[sigma/Sigma(0)]^n
Actually, I can't understand what's the meanng of sigma(0) here and why
use it. what other physical meaning it stands for? Thanks!
